I know this is a really silly question but I am curious what others think of this. I really like the look of the tailback 2.0 but I want to get them without any prescription / corrective lenses. Is that sacrilegious to do so? Any opinions are appreciated.

No I dont think so. I know many people who have had non prescription sun lenses put in rx frames. A clear plano lenses is no different.

I like the tailback 2.0 too and debating on it mainly because 500 USD is a bit steep. But I'd say you can do whatever you want as long as you like it!

I do it all the time this is a few currency muffler, steel plate, Carbon pitch ,twin shock ,crosslink too …. Now some of them can be tricky if they have had prescription lenses in them as I’ve found. They become stretched out !!! Carbon pitch and steel plate have been my worse. I had to send them to FUSE to have the lenses custom cut and installed by them to fit tight. Very loose with lenses they sent me but they are really good customer service. Few pics here Hope this helps because lot of cool pallet RX frames out there and cheap on eBay.

The price point is honestly why I haven’t bought. Is there anyway besides discount codes that would make these cheaper?
