Plantaris

Mine are not accessible until Christmas but there was a card inside with a card to replace the lens. I think someone posted one in the thread. I got as far as lifting a nosepad!
The employee at the vault said they too couldn't quite figure it out on their own pair and were too nervous to really try it on mine... they said they were waiting till one showed up in the store so they could mess around on that one lol.

I lifted the nose pad, but then I tried flipping the jaw out like backwards... but nothing, I put quite a bit of effort in and only got a sliver of movement. 🤷‍♂️

The mistake is pulling the lower jaw like you would a Jawbone or Jawbreaker. It’s not hinged. You pull the lower orbital piece towards the other orbital…pull the nose area as if you were trying to touch the other nose area.
So does the jaw like completely come off?

The instructions don’t actually show the jaw moving… so I don’t understand if you just need to unlock the nose piece to then push the lens out physically or if there’s some sort of movement with the jaw

You can if you can get a grip on the bolt, but that is difficult without using a plier and potentially damaging it.
I was under the impression the jaw swing inwards by the pin pivot point?

The unlocking point is under the flip-up nosepiece. Flip up the nosepiece. Once flipped up, push the orbital AWAY from the lens. The lower orbital unlatches from the upper orbital at the nose area.

I interpret #5 shows twisting out forward… I’m thinking the opposite twisting inwards.

Have you successfully removed the lens?

Yes, I remove it all the time. Instruction #4 is where most people misinterpret, but that is the key part of the lens change. You push the lower orbital piece away from the lens to unlatch it. It’s is actually quite easy.
