The UCI made him remove the nose piece on those glasses. Only reason Oakley getting away with it because it’s minimalist and part of the lens. They’d likely kick out the Plantaris as well if it was worn based on this decision from stage 3.

But then it was back on Groenewegen's nose after SCIcon put it up for sale on their website (due to a UCI rule about all gear used by the riders in races must be available for the public). Go check out the price of that nose piece (under 'spare parts'), if you want a laugh...

From the pics, the beak + top bridge on the Plantaris looks kinda like the detachable rubber bridge on the Clifden... And if it's not, they should have made it like that.

The nose piece is a definite deal breaker for me if its NOT removable. Otherwise, without the beak, I really like the stonewash one.
