Does anyone know why Oakley decided to phase out this wonderful lens already?? I really enjoyed it a lot and it seemed like it would be a best seller when it first came out. Leave it to them to take away something I like, just like they did to Titanium Iridium.

I haven't looked, did they pull it for every model except replacement lenses? My guess it because it's outward appearance is too much like black and I know a lot of people personally that don't like the rose base color lenses. The majority of glasses I see on people in public are a colored lens when it comes to Oakley's, at least around here. I see tons of ruby and sapphire on the daily.

I could not agree with you more... its was their first released prizm lens and for natural color enhancement and a beautiful back view all I can think is it wasn't flashy enough. It has kinda come and gone mostly in womens casual wear. Sometimes they will have it in a mans frame but not many and its been awhile since I ran across one. I kinda wondered if it was because it was so close to prizm dark golf and prizm dark road with the iridium coating that they just phased one out and it got the cut. I did make sure and get a custom cut for my XX and R1 both before they all got sucked up by cutters

The only two models that have it on the site are the Holbrook and Wiretap 2.0; the 15 other searches are for replacement lens. Your reasoning behind it makes a lot of sense, people almost always opt for the flashy lens, regardless of function.

Yeah, just must have not sold well at all because its too mundane for the average Oakley user. I love em in my Flak Drafts but knowing they are phasing them out, I need to get some replacements for my Flaks, Radarlocks, and Radars before they are gone forever. I didn't even think how close it is to both DG and DR!

Way to Go Luxottica , I also like a lot the Prizm Daily Polarized lenses, in my opinion they have the closest tint resemblance to another discontinued favorite lenses of mine the OO BIP.

I have the Prizm Daily Polarized on a Woodgrain Turbine and in my Matte Black Shaun White Holbrooks, as replacement lenses, I think they fit them way better than the Grey Polarized lenses they used to have.

They are great for Overcast days same as the OO BIP lenses.

I really liked the OO line too. I have never thought to use Daily for overcast days; I always thought the VLT was too high. I will definitely try it out now!
