Recently found a couple of the smaller counter top display cases and got them tuned up. The paper was still on them and had been abandoned at some crack house apartment but I was able to use adhesive remover to remove layer after layer of paper and glue. As for the door, we had a new piece of plexiglass cut and drilled new holes for the hinges and lock.
Items used:
-Cosmoline adehesive remover
-Novus heavy scratch repair compound.
-Rupees LHR 75e (Detailing d/a polisher)
-Drill(can’t remember drill bit size for hinges)
-Irwin speed bore bit for lock.
It turned out well considering it had been sitting for a long time and the paper had bonded to the plexiglass.
