Suggestions on wrap around polarized Oakley sunglasses

Where do you get your lenses?

The gray that came with mine after using them for the first time are not great on sun glare, (hence the wanting polarized) but the sharp/clear vision of the lens is pretty amazing. I was not looking for mirrored but open to advice opinions at this point.

I’ve had decent luck with Optic Planet for M Alpha lenses. I think they have TR22 in stock right now. If you can find someone who has access to the SI site, that is obv. the best way. OP doesn’t always have many in stock but they update stock regularly.

@Chris A Hardaway doesn’t cut shields, he did some custom mirror work for me though. @Wavecloud will cut shields, but you have to get your lenses to him in the UK. They both do amazing work though!

Having said all that, if you like the M Alpha, the EVZero will be a good fit for you. I have quite the large head and they fit great. Good coverage and a ton of lens options, both shape and colors, to cover most situations.

For glare, there are 2 Iridium lenses for sure, Snow Jade Iridium and Titanium Iridium TR45. I’ve heard about a Black Iridium lens, but I’ve never seen one. The problem with the other two, is they are rare... Both were a one year only release when the frame debuted. Of the easily findable, the TR22 should okay, but without Polarization it won’t be perfect. But TR22 is by far my favorite daily lens for the M Alpha. The TR45 is great for cloudy days.

Also, @Chris A Hardaway can add a mirror on these lenses to help with glare. Also depending on the mirror color it really helps tube the contrast.

My dumbass dropped one of the customs on my driveway and it came away unscathed minus a little divot out of the field of view. The lens plastic divoted but the mirror was still in the divot. So the mirror held better than the lens itself and that’s probably because the Z87 rated lenses tend to be softer.
