Unoriginal lenses and stem rubber on e wire 2.0?

Hello! I just got my first pair of vintage oakleys (e wire 2.0) from a second hand seller. The seller has good reputation and accepts returns. However I am suspicious of the almost immaculate condition of the glasses, which are almost 25 years old. Lenses and rubber might have been replaced, as you see there is a white border around the glasses and no imprints on the rubber, except the CE on the right ear stem. Is this normal for this model? The frame is bronze and lenses plutonite (as said on the pouch). The glasses feel hefty and sturdy so the frame is definately OK. I have until Aug. 26th to initiate a return. Thank you so much and really hope the parts in question turn out original :)

Sorry I meant to write white border around the lenses, (and not white border around glasses). Feels like it could be third party lenses. Thank you for the replies so far.

The frame does look genuine. Can't say anything about the lenses' legitimacy, but the white rim is a chamfer from cutting them. You'd see that on all lenses. So that by itself is no reason of concern.
You might see if you can mount the lens better in the rim of the orbital frame though.

Thank you for this explanation. Upon closer inspection, it really is just chamfer and if I compare the chamfer to my modern whisker, it looks even more precisely done on the old ones than the new ones. Original or not, it's actually a pretty good job regardelss. Looking forward to wearing them.

There are no imprints or markings on the original Oakley earsocks. Though it would be surprising if they hadn't been replaced at least once. But they could be genuine Oakley replacements, if they haven't been used much. Oakley no longer sells earsocks for the A/E Wire 2.0
