Yes, I think we all love the idea of “Made in America”…but I don’t think we’re ready for the price tag that comes with it. Paying 2-4x more for stuff with little appreciable rise in wages will certainly make that less appealing to us.

I think I love the idea of people who arent children in China making them. Child labor isn't good you know?

Ultimately America spends the most money in the world, protecting the American dollar with tariffs promotes US spending and increases our GDP when we sell goods and services. Which makes us spend more with countries that aren't trying to violently attack us or produce propaganda against us.

Just like always... If it's something good he'll claim he's a genius and it was his doing. Anything negative and he will shake it off quicker than his ex wives. At this point Trump has become WAY too easy to predict in his (and what he can get away with thanks to his followers') stupidity.

I'm truly amazed Americans still do not understand how tariffs work and how they will hurt the average consumer so much more than the rich folks (although all to some degree are impacted).
