Watches Other Than Oakley

personally, I’m not a fan of the NATO straps. I just feel like a Rolex belongs on a bracelet. Just my opinion.

This is true - I think it does look better on bracelet, but for desk diving as a programmer the NATO is a bit more comfortable. Resting the wrist on the bracelet is not fun and also breaks my heart when it scratches up the clasp.

It looks cool, I did the NATO thing for a while on my Sea-Dweller, it was comfortable, however I did not like the pattern it etched on the case back, now back to only Rolex bracelets for me ..

Oh no, it etches the case back? How? It's just nylon, it shouldn't be hard enough to scratch steel. I guess it's time to take it off now rather than later.

Yeah it’s crazy, I didn’t expect it, you could put some thick tape on the case back to protect it if you really like the NATO.

Done, I tried to put the bracelet back on but the tolerance is too tight with Bergeon 6767. I masked lugs so nothing scratched but it's impossible.

Great tool the 6767 but spring bars can be hard work. Looks like you’re already working on a non-slip surface, which I find makes a lot of difference.

I think I'm just going to buy the bergeon 7825, as it's supposed to be better for the tight tolerances of refitting oyster bracelets. I really don't want to mark up the lugs, as I hate when lugs look chipped. I just put it back on NATO for now with the electric tape to prevent abrasion. When the 7825 comes in, I'll take another attempt.
