I think I'm just going to buy the bergeon 7825, as it's supposed to be better for the tight tolerances of refitting oyster bracelets. I really don't want to mark up the lugs, as I hate when lugs look chipped. I just put it back on NATO for now with the electric tape to prevent abrasion. When the 7825 comes in, I'll take another attempt.

Very tight tolerance, the Bergeon 7825 is the best bet to save the back of your lugs , and very easy to use

Which model of 6767 are you using? Sounds like an -S might be too big and you need an -F or -SF.
 
Haven't visited this thread in ages; I'll play along soon. Out n out a Heuer purist.

@htrap2294 and all timepiece enthusiasts, try out Clockworksynergy if not already done; they make the best NATO straps IMHO. Been buying their stuff for a decade now. Quality and Customer service is top-notch.
