That’s most of the grinding done!

Couldn’t resist having a trial fit of the earstems.

I may do a bit more with the grind wheel at low revs and then finish off by hand with a sanding block. For the fiddly bits around the nose piece and hinges I’ll use a small diamond file.

After a bit more grinding the shape is almost there...

Just a bit more fine tuning for the stem fittings and nose area.

Imho, etchings, holes and maybe even partial frosting would give it even more character. It would also "explain" the crazy outline of the lens.
