Which Oakley should I buy?

I am currently looking to purchase a pair of Oakleys to going fishing with. I want them to have good light reduction and water clarity. I am assuming the DWP or SWP is the way to go. But what frames should I get? I’m currently looking at the flak 2.0, bisphaera, half jacket 2.0, wire tap 2.0, or possibly the split shot. Are there any frames should look into, or is any frame arguably better than the rest? Thanks for any help!

I prefer a generally sleeker design, and I feel like those would give me bug eyes LOL. Thanks for the suggestion though, they look cool.

I am going to recommend the Split Shot because it has allot of coverage and also has a neck strap that attaches to the end of the ear stem hence won't fall into the lake dragging that 40lb Musky into the boat. DWP is going to give the most protection and glare reduction and is pretty good for seeing into the water but the SWP is the ultimate fishing lens. You can see into the water as though there was no top to it. You will have to go on the secondary market or ebay to find the SWP... the discontinued that lens but they are out there... just use google or make it easy and hit ebay

Alright. I’ll look into SWP but I’ll probably just get the DWP. I think I’ll go with the split shots also, but I’m undecided. I think I’ll try to try on a pair in store somewhere.

The lenses pop in and out super easy on the Split shot.... if you can track down the SWP lens and have both that is ideal. My second choice on your list in the Flak 2.0 XLJ mainly because it will never go away and is a flagship model so there will always be lenses when you need to change them out.

I'd go with the Flak 2.0 XL over the Bisaphera (and the Radar EV over the Saphaera), and definitely the DWP over SWP, but ultimately it comes down to personal preference. Frame-wise the classic Flak 2.0 XL and Radar EVs just seem more solid to me than the newer options.

If you have an old pair of flak jackets you can still find the xlj SWP and DWP lenses for sale on amazon. Just happened to be wearing these today.

I would also recommend the split shots. I have a new pair for sale, but they have prizm black lenses, not SWP or DWP
