Looking for opinion on how good is this serial number for these Over The Tops?

Bought them at the race track at the US Nationals At Indy early 2000's. At the Oakley sales trailer. Can't find my receipt but I think I paid around $200 back then..

I assume these are serial #14?

Don’t think the number on the label there indicates a serial number, I could be wrong. Usually they are just identified with the SKU #’s, the one for that model would be 04-060.

Since it has no pads above the orbitals I believe means it’s a first gen pair. Looks like it’s in great condition too!

Never wore them always been in box locked in safe.. I was hoping that the F00014 is the serial number. That's how the x metals are numbered?.

Even if that was a serial number, it’s only on the box. How could you prove the pair matches the box? You can’t.

Its not a serial number. Its a production number for the sticker. Is it one of the first ones made, hell yes. Is it a serial, no. Price sounds about right. Would have bought them from Holly or Donnie.

awesome info.. Do I remember that the only way to get these in the beginning was at the racetrack?. I think I tried to buy from a local store and they couldn't get them yet?

Could have been or 2000.

Nice score! I believe OTT doesn’t have any marks on the frames for serial #.
