What I meant was that colnago is a respected, prestigious manufacturer and the fact that its Italian makes it a good match with another respected italian manufacturer, especially on a vintage looking Flyer's bike.Beautiful bike! From your frame geometry, I would guess you're around 6 ft 1 in tall, or in the neighborhood. How close am I?
The easiest match IMO would be an Infrared Jawbone with Fuse Chrome lenses! My Vette was slightly older. I sold it years back. It was unnerving grinding the front end of the car against almost every driveway I encountered HAHA

Except, the entire UAE team including 3X TDF winner Tadej Pogačar all use Shimano and other custom parts on their Colnago bikes... and they could use any brand parts they want, as money for gear is no object. Maybe Shimano offers better support with their parts? Campagnolo are definitely high-end and boutique, but maybe they can't offer the back up that Shimano can?
If you look on Colnago's website, you can choose Campagnolo for the groupset, but all of their "stock photos" show the bikes with Shimano or SRAM parts. I think it's odd that Colnago doesn't promote the fully Italian version more.
