Did I just get scammed or did I get a steal on the Juliets?

Hey I just purchased these Juliet Metal frames and I don’t know if I got a steal or if i have been scammed, would love to hear an experts opinion. The inside of the glasses reads the following: 04-114a 55o21 135

They are fake. Perhaps unbeknownst to the seller. Try to get your money back.

I can feel the lightness of the alloy in my hands right now . Quick tip for one they are just too squeaky clean , two see that cut where the arms join !!! It is a lesson we have all learnt when we started !!!!!

Thanks a lot! Now I have someone offering x metal penny’s looking a bit the same. Are the arms just a dead giveaway they are fake?

Yes mate rule of thumb , usually if it is online and it is cheap it is fake. You need to spend lots of time looking at pics of the real thing , looking at the joins from casing the finish , the lens logo, the rubbers the screws , the studs , until you can i.d. a pair in seconds. I am afraid there is no quick shortcut to collecting Oakley and X Metals in particular and very few real steals these days , you have to walk into it gently and with the Muzm reissues , collecting originally Oakleys just got even harder I am afraid.
