TLDR: I got hard water stains on my prizm tungsten lenses that are almost invisible / hard to photograph but definitely there. How to get rid of them without damaging the lens?
So I was cleaning my glasses under running water the other day when my kid runs up to me with something. Distracted, I left the wet sunglasses on the kitchen counter and went away. Returned few hours later - the water had dried, leaving behind hard water stains (yes, tap water around here is a bit hard). They're almost invisible unless seen up close, but they do affect vision when worn. Tried wiping with a camera lens microfiber but the stains do not budge. Tried washing them again but they still persist. Also tried a lens cleaning solution without any success. Afraid to try anything more, let it lead to delam or streaking, the glasses are barely a week old. Any ideas how to remove the stains?
Will attempt to capture a pic tomorrow morning.
