How do you guys deal with sticky rubbers on old oakleys?

Hi i got a pair of NOS straight jacket 2 that has sticky rubbers mostly on the ear stock any way to deal with them without replacing them wanna keep them NOS thx

1 part vinegar to 3 parts water. Boil on high for 10-20 min depending on how bad they are. Repeat if needed.

It won’t save every pair… some are just too far gone but it’s worth trying.

Never been able to save mine... But it is pretty darn hot and humid down here year round. I just replace as needed while trying to keep them stored away from the hotter areas of the house.

Those darn sticky rubbers. Hopefully you didn't find those between the sheets
