Did Luxotica also acquire the clothes, shoes, accessories as well? For my feeling - it feels like the clothes use to "feel" awesome, but now it seems like a watered down brand, where they just get a shirt and slap the O on it.

In regards to quality, it's easy to see in limited releases that there is limited to no quality control. Pigeons were missing or bad quality etching on the Staple Sub set. Very recently with Straight Jacket MUZM Icon issues. Mars MUZM build quality issues. It's one thing if you pickup a pair of sunglasses for 100.00, nothing special or limited about them, ok there might be a small issue here and there, would seem normal or ok and easy to rectify the situation, return and get another pair. When someone buys a single pair of glasses for over 2,000.00 (like Mars), they should expect them to be perfect in every way. I know people who buy two pairs of everything just knowing that most likely there will be issues with at least one pair, that way they can get a good pair and return the bad.

Another thing is some of their product design \ marketing choices seem way off. If you ask someone the question "What is included with every pair of Oakley Sunglasses?", usually you get a few responses, but one of them is the microfiber bag. For the life of me I cannot figure out why Oakley just will not make and include MF bags for non folding frames. MUMBO, Tiger Racing Jackets, 13.11 no bags. At best, the 13.11 came with a small cloth .... yay, for a pair that was over 500 dollars. Oakley has the pattern on file, they have the materials, why not print up some special bags for limited releases. As it stands they force someone to go aftermarket to get an original large MF bag, or create your own somehow. Some will say that these pairs are for display and not for wearing.... they are sunglasses, they should be able to be used as such......
