Too bad Oakley never mass produced the Flak 1.0 earsocks in olive drab that they used on the SI Eagle version. That would work well with a matte black and Maritime setup I think.
I agree with you there. I was even looking for off brand earsocks that would go well with them. No luck there either.

I am wondering how well they would look on the Rio Green fade frame. What do you guys think of this frame with the maritime lenses.

VR28 polar have always been my favourite as well! Still wear those for work as they don’t stand out so much.

Couple of pics of my Carbon Juliet’s with the Prizm maritime.

I have strayed away from the BIP vr28 with prizm lenses but have rediscovered how much I have enjoyed and still love those.
Hell — I am beginning to enjoy the “new” fire lenses- greenish hue as compared to an orangish—
Maybe this is due to the affect of the rosy side of prizm.

If you haven't tried prizm snow you should! Awesome lens!

Well, I ordered the SI Shocktubes with my new favorite lens. Now the wait begins.

You definitely won't regret it! Prizm Maritime is ridiculously versatile and a new top favorite. I wouldn't consider it a replacement for the BIP bright light coverage ranges, but it performs incredibly well in anything from dark overcast, rainy, cloudy, but not quite all the way to bright direct summer sunlight. It's great for my commute first thing in the morning and late in the afternoon.

IMO, Maritime is one of Oakley's best. VR28 BIP and OO BIP are still my 2 favorites for being able to tackle almost the full spectrum of super bright to overcast, but then Maritime followed by DWP (and a few others). My wife put on my XS Maritime's and wouldn't put them down. I went ahead and picked up a Fives Squared, had Zach fix it up, and put Maritime in them for my wife so she'll leave mine alone!
You'll have your own soon, but I can snap a few pics later today!
