From the link I have bookmarked of the plantaris is states 'Coming soon. Sign up for the next drop.' I've missed two of the drops because I wasn't fast enough to check my email. So maybe just limited small batch runs of it?
I am pretty sure this is a model that will be around for awhile. Oakley will usually remove the link from the page if it is sold out unless they are using it to drive traffic to the website like the Satisfy Plantaris that has been sold out since last Thursday. If you google Oakley plantaris you can find the link to the black plantaris and bookmark it. I am thinking around Christmas we will see maybe all 4 regular sku'd become more available... I think Oakley did somewhat of a soft launch where not a full run was produced just to gauge the interest in the model. That is all I can figure for why they have had such a weird launch.

They made my idea a reality, but seriously doubt it's a 1 of 1. I guarantee there are some of these in the wild we'll never hear about on this forum.
