I must admit I am not convinced. The Lateralis recently were also called pre-release (does the word even make sense lol?). Wouldn't mind though if there are some new releases with coloured lenses. I think someone else also mentioned that the current range of colours are all similar (earthy / neutral tone), except for the blue one.
Hard to say. The same here in Europe and I put in the order for the sand one, in a few places. Then after some waiting being told they are discontinued and given a refund, but still lost some money due to exchange rate on credit cards. The weirdest thing I find is why didn't Oakley release some of these during the summer and suddenly dropped them all in September, the Eye Jacket, Mumbo, QNTM Kato & Plantaris.
Oakley’s style lately is a lot of wasted opportunities. I was thinking maybe they were following M-Experments Jigawatt strategy by building up excitement by releasing a little at a time for a while before making it a regular release. If they discontinue this model this quickly, it would be a huge waste and big mistake.
Who knows, maybe it is just not a very popular model in the greater scheme of things.
