Updates to Oakley Forum Rules/Mod Actions 2020

Actually to my understanding, the points system has always been in place but it was never really used.

I had been banned twice and a mod told me that I had accumulated 1 point the whole time.

So do our points start fresh from now or do I still have my one point boss?

I agree that is is not very professional for a moderator to remove a post and not inform the user why it happened. Typically this frustrates the user and causes more grief long term. While it currently is not mandatory, I suggest any mods doing so should notify the member.

I try my best to be open about my moderation. There has been times where I have not sent a message but felt it was unneeded as the removal was self explanatory.

I’d suggest we allow the poster to delete unnecessary information a person decides to add that has no value to their sale. Constantly I’m seeing a flamer call someone out because they disagree. Personally, if they don’t like a sale scroll down or click ignore.

I’m tired of the flamers adding stupid waste on posts that mislead potential buyers.

Hopefully the OP can delete garbage. Either that or not allow those same member from ruining your posts. Blocking them from commenting might be another good method @OakleyBoss

Kinda a double edge sword. There’s been times in the past that a seller is selling something I know another member is looking for and since the thread is locked, I can’t tag them.
