I'll go ahead and add another +1 for Seiko when it comes to divers under $500... I'll even say they are great up to the $1k price point. I've had fantastic service from seiyajapan.

Last month I picked up a discontinued SRPC23 (anthracite dial Turtle) for $315 delivered from creationwatches in Singapore. Took DHL all of two days to deliver to Socal.

Bought the Invicta. After watching at least 20 reviews, it’s clear that this is a very decent watch for the price and that the hate is pretty much all driven by snobs. All the details that people hate, like the engraving and second hand counterbalance, are really not that noticeable anyway unless you’re staring at a closeup.

Definitely need to pick up one of those new Seiko solar chronographs though.

Just peanut butter and jelly, you know, your posts show you having stuff most people could never afford- not many people can afford a carbon c6 and a royal oak, certainly not TWO royal oaks lol, certainly not me even though I went to school forever and have never done anything but work my butt off. Nice. I almost bought the 2 tone rose gold one of these, bargain for what you get. I think jomashop had a black friday sale a year or 2 ago, it was going for $5k, on an MSRP $12,600 watch! I missed it

Bro, don’t count yourself out, you can make it happen. It hasn’t been until recently, that I’ve been able to afford such luxuries. I’ve held a job since I was 16 years old and worked hard for everything. Was in and out of school for years on end, and just now in my mid forties am I able to get a few things. But there’s always someone with more. Look at Frank, Lol

Part of my problem was that I always wanted things outside of my budget, but it always drove me to find a way to succeed to be able to get what I wanted. Next level, you know? I saw the thing I wanted and pushed myself to get to the next level. I was struggling not too long ago.

Schwarzenegger Legacy AP is a great goal. If it motivates you and pushes you to the next level that’s great. I would really love an AP Skeleton or Concept, but I think next on my list is a Diver 15710 black dial of course. Well, that or an Omega Deep Black. It’s been on my mind for a while.
