Best Cleaning Products??

Those are undoubtedly 100% fake, but I think that has already been established earlier, what I do at home is run them under room temp water let the water blast as much stuff off as then take a tiny dab of dawn dishsoap and put it on my index finger and thumb and with a pinching motion clean the inside and out at the same time then back under the water keep cleaning the lenses until you get that dry squeaky clean feeling and then pat lenses dry with dry with a high quality micro fiber meant for glasses only and then dry the frames after then wash out the cloth set the frames on a paper towel to dry. Field cleaning you just spray and prey 🙏 and hope you don’t get a piece of dirt lodged in the cloth and wreck your lenses

I spit on the lenses and wipe them with whatever I'm wearing, a t-shirt, sweater, etc.

Somewhere in northern California

I have a wide variety of lenses. Some date back over 20yrs now.

My pro tip.

Rinse the lenses luke warm water under the faucet.
You’re rinsing the dirt, sweat off.

2 soft wash cloth (the kind your supposed to be using in the shower) gross if you’re not.

Run the water while light cleaning/rubbing with wash cloth #1

Rinse thoroughly.

Now a clean wash cloth #2 we are drying thoroughly and get those edges thoroughly. Hold up to light and check for any leftover water….
I never use my t-shirt. I never use a microfiber cloth. I never grind in dirt or grit. The only lens that fail… I left sweat on them.
No. I do not live in the humid environment. Some might say… I live in Paradise.

Yeah — that’s actually a solid cleaning routine for glasses or goggles. Running them under room-temp water first removes grit (so you don’t scratch the lenses), and using a tiny bit of mild dish soap like Dawn breaks down oils safely.
Key points:
Avoid hot water — it can damage coatings.
Always use a clean, microfiber cloth (not paper towels or clothes).
“Field cleaning” really is a gamble — better to blow off dust first if you must wipe on the go.
