I tried to get it as best as possible, however the large scuffs are annoying on blackUse your cat to pry it open. Also it looks clean now.

Hey! I’m everyone’s favorite guy.Use a small flat head screwdriver like @Broccoli said. I know he's not your favorite guy, but he wasn't lying to you. The smaller the better. And try and lift up the side that is already sticking up some. That should be the easiest point.
Get in there man. If ya gotta remove the door , go for it. We gotcha man !Annoying, won’t budge.. happens to be in a bad spot too, next to a hinge and the right inside of the door, so you have 0 space for movement

Looks like the grounding is properly done. Just check that nut to make sure it is tight. Then check where I have circled. That might be a metal strip wrapped around your wires. Loosen those and check to see if any of those went thru the wires insulation. Those are possible points of shorting. I don't see any exposed wiring that would alarm me. But you still have that upper compartment to check out as well.Fear not, for it is open..
@Lopaka KaMars
Anything to consider here? (it’s dirty so I gotta clean this)
