Check with the case unplugged. It doesn't have to be plugged in while you're just looking at your wires. By the way, does your cord have all 3-prongs? If you have proper grounding, if your hot was exposed and touched something, it would actually short and trip your breakers first.

It is a monitor 3-prong cable yes.. my dad thinks it’s something up top, we took out the rods and they’re good, we found some mouse droppings so we think there’s a bare wire somewhere chewed up.

Check these wire nuts and make sure all wires are connected properly. Nothing should be mixed up or loose. And check at any wire nuts up top as well.

If it's wrapped together with a plastic tie wrap, cut it so you can make sure no wires are loose. Just the tie wrap and not your wires. So be careful.

If you still can't physically see any problems, then you might have to start isolating each part. What I mean by that is I would take off those wire nuts where the cord first comes in and start with that. Trouble shooting is a little tricky so I'm hoping it's something you can see.

But trouble shooting requires you to have a voltage meter so you can check things as you go. This means that you would have to plug it in for this to happen. I'm just trying to make sure you do this safely.

Will do, I am cracking into the top now to check there, if I absolutely can’t find anything then my grandfather should be able to get anything fixed cause he can do some electrical stuff like this.. hopefully nothing is too far gone but I might be good.

Number one thing is don't plug in the cabinet till you work this out. Getting shocked is very dangerous and I don't want anyone to get hurt.
