Quick Poll - Y'all should stop sharing this info! It just makes it harder for people to find donors

I could see the other con being those who use this info to cut and resel pairs as NOS Rare items. One eBay user tends to have rare OEM pairs readily available for older styles at jacked up pricing. Average person just looking to buy replacements assume they are originals, when they were cut. You could say they are still OEM, but it’s dishonest as they weren’t originally cut for that frame.

Then again, I have no evidence that they aren’t original pairs, and they may have never seen this massive list of information.

Now that is certainly a CON. A very dishonest thing to do for sure.

I find it hard to get useful info from very ling threads with only ten posts per page.

It’s the same with any forum and it’s because of the way the pages scroll up or down imo - like a fruit machine.

Book formats on kindle or iBooks are better I think.

The scrolling model is based on early one armed bandits - designed to hypnotise etc.

Over twenty years ago - website were not like this. More ‘book format’.

Providing/sharing information is the essence of this place, no? Why forums of any kind exist right? The more lists, the more information, the better. I'm definitely very grateful and appreciative of the efforts!

More info is good. Hard to keep up with new models so great when someone shares new donor information. Especially for frames with very few donors (like RJs, Split jackets, PBs etc.)

Btw has anyone trimmed Radarlock lenses to fit Radars? Still prefer the original to the Radarlock and EV

I think we need to preserve and save our information all over this forum. The lists are great and the how much is this worth thread is great but I don’t like people that create an account get some info or what they are after then bolt. We are all supposed to share information not give it away. I think that’s the bigger issue here. @"TRUMP" is correct in saving our information but it’s going to be difficult to police.

No opinion matters except keeping them. There are people that are going to create physical copies of the data in that donor thread due to this opinion poll.

What I mean is if you want to hide the information - it would've been best to remove the information before posting this thread and then see what people think. If they can't tolerate it, put the information back. This thread, regardless of the votes, just means hard copies of those donor lists are now saved into SSDs.
