They can't fill the openings because they have everyone hooked on handouts, aka "stimulus" and unemployment bs over this COVID ****. The entire service industry can't get people to work because they make the same or more from home or they want to continue working from home (teachers for example). Then there is a few that think they are going to continue to get the free gravy train (no evictions) they've been getting since last March when they closed most of the country. The fact companies have to give free iphones and $1000 sign on bonuses for unskilled labor to entice people to come back to work are only make things worse, but that is supply and demand. The ******* they gave the world last March is only now starting to show how bad it's going to hurt, it's going to get worse as we go on.

Robots should be doing most low skill jobs anyway.

I was tempted to call the support helpdesk at work and tell them my PC wasn’t booting up! We still don’t know why DHL delivered it to me, I already had a new laptop a couple of months before

Sent a package out Friday, and before midnight, it was on a plane flying off the islands. But tracking still says Wednesday delivery to mid-northern state, even though I paid extra for 2-3 day priority service.

In my opinion USPS is very efficient at what they do. They process nearly 430 million pieces a day, that's unbelievable. I guess I'm lucky, but in my own experience USPS has never lost a package. Last year when they got backed up I did have a couple packages get held up. I thought they were lost but they eventually got to their destination.
