Grab a stable value one and try it out now, maybe I can change your mind. I will say though, I love the AP RO and AP Millenary.
like I said. No real argument against it. Many AP owners also own Rolex. I just really really want an AP diver.

The carbon or steel one then, IMO!

Not really a Rolex guy, particularly not in bi-metal, but that’s a great pick up. Also great to see you wearing it, it’s what watches are for, NOS or otherwise.Picked up a time capsule today...NOS 1996 Rolex DJ36 16233. It came complete with original box and papers.
Brand spanking new, like it came off the showroom floor in 1996. The tritium aged so well, as it was never shown sunlight. The dial has started to warm too and get the deeper gold that champagne dials tend to get.

I do want to pick up a Speedy Pro at some point but, as you can tell from the Juliets, I have problems stopping at one of anything! Basic steel and black of course, but I really like the current platinum and meteorite one. Gold too. Mitsukoshi, original not clone. A blue dial, maybe Gemini IV. See what I mean?Thank you! I agree. If I buy something, I'm wearing it. At the same time though, I appreciate when people keep it NOS so that I can enjoy it when they ultimately sell.![]()

42mm is my personal upper limit, despite a 7.75 inch wrist, so moonwatch only - no co-axials, Dark Side etc.
