indeed they are smaller than the regular strawberries you can find in japan, they are cheap but still good to use for making jams

The jam helps the moistness of the cake for me, also why I prefer Hotel Sacher’s Sachertorte to Café Demel’s, thanks to the extra layer of apricot jam.
