Anodizing X-Metals by XMC optics

I just posted this in the exchange, but thought I would do a Brand new XX frame in the Purple similar to the Juliet that @Mdgustaf happily purchased from me. It came out beautifully. Also, thanks for all the great posts and support with this journey. Yes @kronin323 its hard to test the many different ways to do the anodizing with only new frames. It is even more difficult due to once done, in order to reverse the process the Ti has to be either chemically stripped or blasted. That obviously changes the NEW frame condition. So I have one opportunity to get it right and only so many frames to work on. ALOT of the ones you saw in the initial posting that were etched chemically, are the same frame done over and over. If you look close you will see the nose pins not all the way in on some of them. Thats also why there are more Matte finish on top of silver frames than like @MJLSr Polished Purple Juliet. Here is what I posted.

Nice work again IH, the examples keep getting better!

Just the lighting or do these seem to be a stronger purple than mine? Sorry to double post in both threads, but just found this and figured this might be the more appropriate spot for my question...

Bad news is we are being hit with snow again today, so who knows if my beauties will actually get delivered as expected... My patience is being tested, and I have no patience for my patience being tested hehe!

Might be slightly more @Mdgustaf, I put them in the chemical etch for 5 seconds to take off some of the oxide layer, but NOT all of it, and not enough to change any of the finish. Thought I would try something new a little. They I anodized it, so might be a little stronger.

Very cool, I like the stronger color a lot... I'm sure I will be more than satisfied with mine, hopefully I get to find out today!!! Thanks for the fast response!

I am providing this post as both a testimonial and a review of IH's services. I have received my 'Cowboys' and x-metal/purple Juliet's from him the end of last week. I have to say that both are incredibly beautiful works of art. The purple has to be one of my new favorites (worn it three straight days in a row, only haven't worn it the last few because I didn't want my other Oaks to get too jealous!!!). I will be posting some pics in the WAYWT thread soon enough (my short hiatus from the thread will soon be over as my health recovers). The finish's are soo unique, like nothing I have ever seen or had. I am absolutely overcome with satisfaction over the purchases and will be working with him in the future without hesitation. IH truly seeks to satisfy his customers and really goes the extra mile or two to make you happy. Because the finish's are so unique I imagine it is hard for him to describe them, or even adequately picture them. You really need to see them in person. I certainly don't have a crystal ball, but my experience is any piece you have done by IH you will be very happy with (or he will do everything in his power to ensure your satisfaction!).

Beyond that, IH is a pleasure to work with, converse with, etc. Just a great standup guy. I have always worked with him for cutting lenses and never had any issues. These anodization services are just another extension of his premium services. I would not hesitate in using any of his services if you are questioning it. Truly the highest quality workmanship, customer service, and friendliness. A++++ all the way around, I have absolutely nothing bad to say on any fronts. THANK YOU IH!!!!

@InfiniteHero , if an x-metal pair was left unetched like @Mdgustaf's Juliets, would the other colours only hint at the anodised colour also? I like the teal and electric green but not sure I could pull them off - whereas an x-metal pair that hinted at teal might be a different matter...
