I can't seem to leave these in their case for too long.

Took the one set to another store & traded for these:

It may not look like it, but it is a gradient lens. The other was bronze/brown gradient, but was too transparent in my line of sight.

I think my issue with MauiPure in the Ho'okipa is the Clarity.
but my real issue is the Blah of their lack of Saturation in everything that is not glass

Wore the reader Ho'okipa while driving today & I am fine with the MauiBrilliant for Clarity, but there is something inherent to the material that makes the Saturation very very weak.

I can wear them indoors while shopping, so that is a bit of a plus, & easily read labels.
However, out in the sun they are just barely different than a grey-tint sunglass.

I believe Mau-Ultra would be a step in the wrong direction, if Clarity is causing my eye-fatigue.
& I am also tired of throwing money at M.J. & will likely liquidate my entire collection soon.

I ignorantly ordered a pair of pre-owned Ho'okipa readers with the Maui-HT lens recently.
To be honest, I wish I had taken that drive with them on today BEFORE I made that order, because I likely would have not.

on the upside however, the Mau-HT has a high VLT & MauiBrilliant takes away most of the Saturation, so it will likely just be a really expensive pair of readers

I have two pair that could easily replace the M.J. World Cup glass, that are not glass.

the lens is Polar PhD lenses: Trivex / NXT polymer
so it should be about the Clarity of MauiBrilliant, almost as good as Glass

I was standing there in the sun, letting the photochromic effect apply itself & thinking it was similar to the Blue-Horizon lens from Zeal, only with less Saturation.
