IMHO This site isn't a market, it's a club. I prefer not to consider the exchanges I make with cash as sales but trades. I don't treat the members I trade with as retailers so I won't appreciate anyone acting as such.

The "seller" is free to sell to his buddy at the last minute if he wants. It's not yours until you've shook hands and sent the cash. Sellers are also free to set their price to what they want. The best response to an over inflated price is to ignore the sale thread and let it drown.

Perhaps a hidden poll in each sale thread that only the seller can see where venerated members can make a single anonymous vote if the price is "disrespectful" to the community. Letting the seller know that their thread is probably drowning because they're being a douche.

The value usually only hold for the person it was customised for. Zach, brian, rick, big wave dave, etc...all do awesome work...but beauty is in the eye of the beholder and they are generally customized to ones particular liking
