Questions For Jim Jannard!

The Pit Boss was my last real involvement, but I won't take sole credit for it. There are designers and CAD modelers at Oakley that I worked with to create this one. It was the culmination of lots of things we learned over the years and a great example of the design language, SLOGGING, that was established in the early 1990's. I have worn my pair of 1st prototypes every day since they were put together.

Jim

Thanks Jim.
So the first non-Jannard frames were the Fuel Cell / Batwolf era? Or have I got my chronology wrong?
Just trying to pin-point the crossover.

Thank you for the pitboss. How was the decision process in the special edition bosses?

Hey Jim,

Can you tell us the Coles notes on Michael Jordan's involvement with the brand? I've heard lots of different things and it has always been a curiosity of mine.

Thanks

Jim,
Looking forward to the meet, I have not been on here for awhile, (Military), but would you be interested in a Copper Penny, however--- The serial is a NALxxxx . We looked it up in a Oakley system and it is not in it. It would appear to be, by some people in this forum, maybe a National Lencrafters Sales sample. Perfect condition. If it is something you need then I will just bring it to the meet. Thanks for you support in this forum. It is appreciated.

Thanks Jim-question kind of piggybacking on that-I'm sure there was much variance, but what was the "average" amount of time that it took for a model to go from conception to production?

Too much to talk about in a post. Jim

I guess we'll have to wait for your autobiography 'Get A Grip' for all the details, although from what I know about you, the book will probably be mostly pictures.
